Movie Review: Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Ok, so were less than a month away from the release of the last Hobbit movie. So, I thought we'd take a blast to the past and look at where it all started. In 2001, we were blown away by the talent of Fellowship of the Rings. It's accuracy to the LOTR novels, the acting, hey even the Frodo was cool. However, the real reason I personally enjoy this movie, is because of the story. The story is pretty complicated, it basically revolves around whoever is in possession of the ring. The ring is a magical object which is extremely powerful, but at the same time is very dangerous. I think the other reason this movie is so awesome, is because of the acting. In this film, the acting is so believeable that you actually think you are in Middle Earth. One thing that the movies do (all three of them) is the length. These movies rock, but the length is often what turns people away. It is not a quick story and needs that time to explain what is happening. Overall, LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring is a great ride. Three stars.
